Rebuilding became removing in this project. The interventions in the former doctor's house with doctor's surgery on the first floor consisted of making wall and floor openings. Instead of adding additional volume, the main need here was for light and spaciousness. The house was a solid stack of rooms with a dark central section that also contains one of the two staircases. The main intervention was carried out in this section: a floor was removed between the ground floor and the first floor, and interior windows to the stairwell and corridor were created around the double-height space that was created. Thus, daylight now penetrates deep into the house and several vistas were created between the living spaces and the work area on the first floor. Perforations were also made in the rest of the house, providing well-considered light and views.
